Getting Started

1. Create your account

1. Download FourPlay from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Enter your phone number. We'll text you a verification code.
3. Enter the code to log in. No email, no password.

One phone per account: we block duplicates to keep the game fair.

2. Allow notifications

We send notifications for:

• Match starts for teams you follow
• Prize wins
• Friend joins from your invites
• Leaderboard finishes

Turn these on at signup or adjust later under Settings → Notifications.

3. Take your first scan

1. Find a live World Cup match.
2. Tap the scan button in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Hold your phone vertically and aim so the broadcast fills the viewfinder.
4. You'll get your first question in a few seconds.

4. Complete your first challenge

After answering, tap "Challenge a Friend" and pick a contact. When they install FourPlay and finish signup, your Invite to Unlock progress jumps.

How to Play

Scanning

• Hold your phone vertically and aim at the TV
• Fill most of the viewfinder with the broadcast
• Scans take 1 to 3 seconds typically
• A 3-minute cooldown runs between scans; invite friends to earn more scan energy

Scoring

• Correct predictions earn points instantly
• Harder questions pay more
• Your activity rolls up to both the match leaderboard and the tournament leaderboard

Leaderboards

Two run side by side:

1. Tournament leaderboard: total points across the entire World Cup tournament
2. Match leaderboard: points within a single match

Building Your Orbit

What it is

Your Orbit is the network of people you've invited, plus the people they've invited. Their activity contributes to your score.

How it scores

• First-degree (friends you directly invited): 25% of their points flow to you; 50% after the Orbit upgrade at Invite 3
• Second-degree (their invited friends): 10% of their points flow to you; 25% after the Orbit upgrade

Invite to Unlock

Successful invites unlock features permanently:

A "successful invite" means your friend installed FourPlay, verified their phone, and completed signup.

Managing your Orbit

• View members and their stats on the Orbit tab
• Mute notifications from specific Orbit members under Settings → Notifications

Prizes & Redemption

Eligibility

• 18 or older to claim
• Account in good standing (one phone per account; no duplicates)

How prizes are revealed

Per-match prize amounts vary and are revealed slot-machine-style when you scan.

How redemption works

1. When you win, FourPlay sends you a prize link.
2. The link arrives in-app or by SMS. No email required.
3. Tap the link to choose your reward.
4. Minimum redemption is $5.

Taxes (US players)

US tax rules require a 1099 form for any player who wins $2,000 or more in a calendar year (per 2026 federal rules). Keep your account info accurate so we can prepare it correctly.

Disputes

Question results are based on official match data and are final once resolved. If you believe a result is incorrect, email support@fourplay.ai within 24 hours of the match ending with:

• Your account phone number
• The match
• The specific question

We review case by case.

Privacy & Permissions

We don't store identifiable scan images alongside your account. Contact data is encrypted and stored separately from the main app database.

Deleting your account

Settings → Account → Delete Account. We process the request in line with applicable privacy laws.
